Secure Digital Authentication for DGFT & EXIM Transactions

DGFT Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is a Class 3 Signing Certificate issued exclusively to organizations having a valid IEC (Import Export Code).

It enables exporters, importers and EXIM organizations to securely:

• Apply for import/export licenses
• File online applications and returns
• Add IEC branches
• Submit supporting documents electronically
• Complete DGFT portal transactions

As mandated by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), all digital documents uploaded on the DGFT portal must be authenticated using a valid Class 3 Digital Signature Certificate.

The DGFT DSC ensures:

• Identity verification of the authorized representative
• Authenticity of uploaded documents
• Legal validity under the Information Technology Act, 2000
• Secure and encrypted submission of applications

Without a valid DGFT DSC, license-related applications and DGFT transactions cannot be processed.
